// Forks & Hardware

The front end is the part most conversions forget. A hub-motor kit adds the power and the weight at the back, but every bit of that speed still has to be steered and stopped through forks that were specified for a pedal bike. At 55 to 65 km/h, flex in a stock fork shows up as vagueness in the steering and chatter under hard braking, and both get worse as the build gets faster.KKE front forks are built for that load: real damping, stiffer stanchions, and a front end that stays where you point it while the rear is pushing. This is the natural companion to a 3000W or 5000W build.Do it at the same time as the brakes rather than after. Both are answers to the same problem, which is that the chassis under a conversion was specified for a fraction of the speed the motor now delivers, and upgrading one at a time means riding a bike that is half sorted twice.FREE AUSTRALIA-WIDE SHIPPING. These parts are for off-road and private property builds.
