Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability



By purchasing and using any product or kit from F1ebikes.com, you acknowledge and agree to the following:


  • F1ebikes.com is not responsible for any personal loss, injury, or property damage resulting from the use, misuse, or malfunction of our products, including but not limited to our e-bike kits.
  • Use of our kits is entirely at your own risk. You accept full responsibility for operating any e-bike equipped with our products and for ensuring its proper installation, maintenance, and usage.
  • F1ebikes.com is not liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of personal property, injury, death, or legal consequences stemming from the operation of the e-bike.






2. 

Warranty Policy



We offer a Limited Warranty for our products under the following conditions:



What is Covered:



  • Factory defects in materials or workmanship on the kit components only.
  • Warranty is only applicable if the defect is due to manufacturing and not user misuse or harsh riding conditions.




What is Not Covered:



  • Orders placed before April 12th are not covered under any warranty.
  • Top speed issues: If your e-bike does not reach estimated top speeds, this is not covered under warranty.
  • Range issues: If the bike does not reach the factory estimated distance, this is not covered, as performance may vary based on rider weight, road condition, usage, and maintenance.
  • Battery issues:
    • Capacity loss over time (normal degradation).
    • Damage caused by incorrect use or tampering with battery seals.
    • Failure to charge the battery regularly.
    • Leaving the battery unused for more than 3 months.
    • Use of incorrect chargers or mishandling of battery units.

  • Wear and Tear: Damage due to normal wear and maintenance is not covered. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Brake components
    • Display unit
    • Controller
    • Throttle
    • Derailleur and gear adjustments
    • Cable tightening
    • Bottom brackets
    • Spokes and nuts

  • External damage: Any damage resulting from collisions, accidents, water submersion, modifications, or misuse.
  • Cosmetic flaws: Minor scratches, marks, or imperfections.

User Responsibility



You are solely responsible for ensuring:


  • Proper and safe installation of your e-bike kit.
  • Legal compliance with local, state, or federal e-bike regulations.
  • Safe riding practices, including wearing protective gear and performing regular maintenance.



F1ebikes.com makes no guarantees regarding performance metrics, and actual performance may vary.

Limitation of Claims



We do not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

Changes to Terms



We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
